Dorothy grew up in metro-Atlanta and joined the Cobb Law Group in 2004. Currently, she is the director of our accounting and billing department as well as a legal assistant specializing in litigation document preparation, preparation of mechanics & materialmen’s liens, and court filings. Her organizational skills, communication skills, and her dedication to our client’s customer service have made her an invaluable part of the Cobb Law Group team.

Dorothy began her academic career at the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee. In 2004, she received her B.A. in English, and was graduated with cum laude academic honors. By nature, she views herself as a problem-solver and approaches every client matter with the goal of serving her client’s needs as effectively as possible. She considers continuing education as an important part of her professional development so she is constantly learning from her work experience as well as attending continuing legal education seminars. She enjoys public speaking and can meet with clients to help train their staff and to implement cost-saving and efficient transfer of information between the Cobb Law Group and its clients.

In her spare time, Dorothy pursues her interest in art history. She has helped catalogue personal art collections across the country, she has lectured at museums, and she has recently sat on the boards of the American Ceramics Circle, The Thomasville Antique Show, and the Thomasville Center for the Arts. Currently, she is treasurer of The Brookwood School Parents Counsel, and she serves on the Vestry of her chuch.
