- we successfully negotiated a payment bond claim which we had filed on behalf of our client; the claim resulted from an unpaid debt on a Fort Gordon project located in Augusta (Richmond County), Georgia; we filed suit in Chatham County, Georgia but we were able to resolve all of the outstanding issues before the debtor or the surety had to file their answers to our lawsuit;
- on behalf of our client, a construction material supplier, we began foreclosure proceedings against a DeKalb County, GA mechanic’s lien which we had previously filed; we are pleased to report that payment in full (including interest and attorney fees!) was collected;
- we settled a lawsuit which we filed in Atlanta to enforce a payment bond claim against a surety, our client’s customer and a personal guarantee; our client, a heavy-equipment supplier received over 80% of the money they were due;
- we served a defendants on an out-of-state Tribal Reservation in a matter pending in Muskogee County, Georgia;
- we filed a Georgia Mechanic’s and Materialmen’s Claim of Lien in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia on behalf of a client who supplier debris removal services on a construction site;
- we received payment in full for a Materialmen’s lien which we had filed in Savannah, Georgia; after executing the proper lien waivers and releases, we cancelled our Chatham County, lien;
- we sent multiples Notices of Owners (NTO) to projects located in Fulton County, Cobb County, Bibb County and Richmond County, GA;
- we filed a Notice of Commencement on behalf of a general contractor starting a new project in Decatur, Georgia (DeKalb County), and we filed a second Notice of Commencement on behalf of the same general contractor in Cobb County, Georgia;
- our client, a supplier on a construction project, has received almost 100% of his claim, and we were able to cancel the Claim of Lien which we had filed on their behalf in Franklin County;
- we filed a Georgia Mechanic’s and Materialmen’s Claim of Lien in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia on behalf of a client who supplier debris removal services on a construction site;
